HB Rentals’ Mexico Facility Delivers 52 Man Camp Package

CIUDAD DEL CARMEN, Mexico — Temporary offshore accommodation provider HB Rentals’ Mexico facility has completed the delivery of a 52-man camp package. This package will be utilized on a platform in the Gulf of Mexico for the next three months.

Module Loading

The scope of work called for temporary offshore accommodations solution that would increase the sleeping quarters on the platform by 52 beds. In addition to the increase in sleeping quarters, the project called for providing laundry facilities, an office, galley, and diner to accommodate the increase in people on board the platform. To meet the needs of the customer, HB provided Steel Stackable Modules. Three 12-Man Sleepers (10-foot by 40-foot), two 6-Man Sleepers (10-foot x 20-foot) and one 4-Man Sleeper / Laundry (10-foot x 40-foot) were utilized to accommodate the increase in beds and laundry needs. One Galley / Diner (10-foot x 40-foot) and one Office / Locker room (10-foot x 20-foot) were used to meet the additional support modules requested.

Module Loaded

In addition to the modules, HB provided the auxiliary equipment ecessary to keep the modules up and running. This included generators, electrical distribution, water tanks, sewer tanks, and lighting towers to make sure that the camp would be able to sustain itself.
