June 15, 2018

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. — Temporary accommodations specialist HB Rentals’ Grand Junction facility team members completed a safety training program over the course of six days. This training was provided through a joint effort between HB’s safety coordinator Tyrel Porter and William Greer with Warrior Energy Services, HB’s sister company.

Grand Junction, Safety Training Program

The facility team members were split into two groups, one taking the three day training program and the other covering the day to day operations of the facility. They would then switch roles allowing for all team members to participate in the safety training program. The three day course covered a wide range of topics which included RigPass, First Aid, Incipient Fire, and Universal Waste.

In addition, HB team members participated in Decision Driving where they would drive with the instructor for evaluation after classroom training. Hands on forklift training was also completed. Each team member operated an applicable forklift, given their role, and were graded and scored. The team here were sharing and discussing the new safety teachings they had learned even after the program had finished, said David Logan, Operations Manager Grand Junction, CO. I can truly say, our team was pumped up on safety!
